Renato Naves Prado is a photographer and Audiovisual professor at the Federal Institute of Goiás. Holding a PhD in Art and Visual Culture from the Federal University of Goiás, he develops artistic practice and research centered on Visual Culture and Professional Education through the practice of street photography, videorrelatos (videoreports), and micro-documentaries.

With a background in photography and documentary film editing, today his work integrates visual creation with teaching. His focus is on investigating visual culture as a means to critically and philosophically think about life and society. His work in education and practice-based research is structured to systematize professional, formative, and methodological processes in the fields of photography and audiovisual media.
